The Paw Paw Lake Foundation (PPLF) is a not-for-profit organization "Dedicated to the preservation protection and improvement of Paw Paw Lake, and its ecosystem and watershed".

Paw Paw Lake, Little Paw Paw Lake and Lake Stella (Mudd Lake) are located within Berrien County in southwest Michigan. The lakes are popular for recreation and home to many year round and vacation homes. Paw Paw Lake is a 891 acre lake that is approximately 91 feet deep at its deepest point and has approximately 9 miles of shoreline. Little Paw Paw Lake is a 95 acre lake that has an average depth of approximately 15 feet. The total size of the Paw Paw watershed is 9248 acres.
